things I can't travel without
Here are some travel essentials I’ll never stop recommending to my friends!
travel sized shower filter
This was the state of my filter in a bali resort after just 1 run of the tap. In a separate occasion, my friend spotted a worm in her filter! These filters have honestly been a life saver, way less breakouts & hair falls when traveling!
loop earplugs
These do a really good job of muffling environmental sounds, especially when my accommodation has poor soundproofing. They’ve also saved me from sensory overload when my airpods die mid-flight.
travel sized hand soap, feminine wipes, tissues, sanitizer
Public toilets can be a nightmare & I fear public-use bidets might give me a UTI. I have my hand soap hanging on my bag strap for easy access & a waterproof pouch for all my wipes & disinfectants!
Honorary mention — carabiner. As seen in the above photo, I can’t go anywhere without them. They hold my rings, my soap & any items that might not fit in my bag.
travel house slippers
They just help me feel more at home when I’m back in my accommodation, especially if the toilets are kind of grimy & mouldy.
zerraport keens II
Some might say these are hideous but they’re perfect for trekking, water sports, walking & the beach. They’re also really easy to wash & dry at the end of the day.
universal travel adapter with lighting cable ports
As someone who travels with a multitude of devices (phone, ipad, kindle, portable charger, protable fan, etc) this reduces the number of charger heads I’ve to pack.
alcohol wipes
My phone feels particularly grimy at the end of the day. I usually place a pack of alcohol wipes by the bedside table to wipe down my devices, especially if I’ve been out & about with activities.
I’d love to know what everyone else’s travel essentials are!
